3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDisclaimer:If you are easily fazed by harsh words, the student body here will not be pleasant. This isn't really a problem in accelerated classes though, since most people there are well behaved.Overall, being a seventh grader I have loved these past two years and seventh grade is coming to a close. I have been taught more than sufficiently, have been challenged throughout the year and have made more friends than I could ever want. Highly recommend this school for anyone who is willing to put in work.Student Review5y ago - Classical High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMajor underfunding, racial polarization, a lack of cooperation between all levels of the school—Classical High School needs a serious makeover. While the school celebrates its diverse student body, groups/cliques based on the ethnicity/race of the student are often the norm. Only a handful of students take their education seriously; most will end up at the community college or university nearby or will never matriculate to a college. Moreover, the students here are well underprepared for the rigor that a typical four-year college will present. While some academically-inclined students have begged administration to enhance the curriculum—especially the math department—administration again and again failed to address the lack of rigor.Student Review1y ago - Lincoln-Thomson Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLincoln Thomson is such a great school! We were hesitant to enroll in LPS due to the 'stats', but we would have been selling ourselves short had we let that be our deciding factor. Our experience with this school has been phenomenal. We have received more than we even could have ever hoped for. The teachers and staff are all so pleasant and helpful. The care they have for all of the children is very obvious. The class sizes are very small so each kid gets a lot of attention. The kids are all so nice to one another and the programs used for reading and math have been exceptional. I wasn't expecting for our son to be reading on his own before first grade. We, as parents, have been presented with so many opportunities to get involved in the PTO, school events and extras, like helping the kids check out books from their school library. My son has received all of the special services he needed without any need to remind or ask. There has not been a single issue over this year or anyone we don't owe a huge thank you to, from the staff in the cafeteria to the Principal. We highly recommend Lincoln Thomson and are so happy our sons will be attending this elementary school.Other Review10mo ago - William R Fallon

"Dog owners would have to be careful of being attacked by other dogs, being mugged, and, stalked. Dec 2023 a man’s nose and ear were bitten off by 2 loose dogs next to the park in the area where all the kids go play in the summer. I have personally been stalked while walking my dog, had a weapon pointed at me for just walking the dog around the block, and had an aggressive dog jump the fence 2x to get to my dog. Now we drive to safer towns to go on walks because of how dangerous it has been just to walk around the block with our dog. "
