1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a student at fuller (sadly) and I out of the 8 schools Ive been to, I have never seen such an unruly, zoo like school. The teachers there Lack authority in the classroom and the students have 0 respect towards them. They let kids roam the halls and I have even whiteness a kid from a different class come into my class, throw water and shove the teacher. The teacher did Nothing about it other than yell. It's such a disruptive environment full of toxic and unwelcoming children. I didn't learn anything there and the teachers don't care about that. DO NOT PUT YOUR KIDS IN THIS SCHOOL EVER.Student Review8mo ago - Brophy Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHaving had 2 kids go thru Dunning, we have no complaints as the teachers and support staff were first rate. Highly recommend finding a home in this neighborhood and sending your kids to Charlotte Dunning Elementary School!Parent Review8y ago - Hemenway Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had 3 children attended this school- all on IEP's for different reasons. My son was diagnosed with ASD in 1st grade and the staff helped me to navigate the difficult process of his IEP. Teachers always responded to my inquiries and did their best to accommodate my son in the best way possible. Now he is thriving in Middle school and I owe a lot of his success to the support he received at Hemenway. My daughter struggled with slow processing and comprehension. The teachers were so patient and always celebrating her successes, big and small. My youngest is now off to Middle School and has had the best experience with all the teachers, specialist and administration. All the teachers are dedicated to ensuring every student is getting what they need to succeed. The new principal has made a seamless transition and I continue to see Hemenway vision carried out every day. I can't say enough good things about it.Parent Review1y ago - Mary E Stapleton Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's really terrible. Which is a shame because the teachers truly care. Framingham has many family shelters and every homeless child in Framingham is sent to this elementary school as opposed to the others in Framingham. There are many children who have severe emotional problems, and/or have stayed back for several years due to homelessness. It is irresponsible of the school system to have all of the children who need special attention in one school when there are a half dozen elementary schools in Framingham. It's not fair to any of the children because they cannot get the attention they deserve. My 2 kids have gone here for 2.5 years. There have been at least 4 principals, and they currently don't have one at all. They have only gone on one field trip each. They come home stressed out from bullying and the teachers are very short tempered. Im glad we are moving this year.Parent Review5y ago - Potter Road Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI failed my last 3 history tests with grades under 50% each time. As I mentioned before, the bathrooms are a wreck, always smell like vape, and never have any tp. My chemistry teacher is incompetent and uninteresting and I cant bring myself to listen to him. My math teacher gives us problems and just tells us the right answer a few minutes later with no explanation as to how she got it, -1 points, show your work. Last year was so good, but now I feel dead and like im wasting my time.Student Review4y ago - Check out schools near 3 Lilian Road Ext.

What Locals Say about Framingham

"Easy access to 20, 9, mass pike , 495, 128 to get just about anywhere. Traffic is unfortunately heavy on all these routes. "

"I work about 4 miles West of my place but still in Framingham. Most traffic is inbound Eastward towards Boston so my commute is not at all bad. Local residents who work in Boston will drive to the train station, park their cars for the day and take the commuter rail (purple line) into town. It is 45-minute ride between Downtown Framingham and Back Bay Station so that is a good alternative to driving into the city. "

"The parks here are great. There is an abundance of convenience with shoppers world and several other shopping centers. Plenty of restaurants to chose from with a wide range of variety. Schools are okay. Plenty of wonderful communities to be a part of in this town. Have enjoyed living here for several years. Downtown Framingham is cleaning up which is wonderful because for a while it was pretty rough. The now city is really turning over a leaf. Be sure to check out the many parks and available trails as there is plenty to do both indoors and outside. There are some good locations of Framingham and some kind of rough sections. The further from downtown you are the nicer the community is. There are plenty of neighborhoods with small or large yards. There is a farm in Framingham that I would highly recommend. It is close to Boston so the commute is easy. You can take back roads, the pike, route 9, or the commuter rail if you don’t want to drive. All are very convenient. It’s a perfect middle location from Worcester to the west and Boston to the east. "
