"the East side of south Boston (city point) offers the best if everything. There are numerous parks and playgrounds, beaches for both families and singles, beautiful running loop around castle island, fantastic schools (south Boston catholic and the Perry), easy commutes to down town visiting with public transportation, short walk to restaurants, boutiques and the seaport. There are a ton of family friendly activities (huge Easter egg hunt, family funday, Christmas tree lighting at M street park with Santa clause, and the st. Patrick’s day parade. The church is right there as well and the community offers the countries largest moms club! It truly is a gem for families."

"I grew up in this neighborhood born and raised it has deffinattly changed alot. Its still a great place to live. We used to just know all our neighbors in the entire neighborhood. We would help each other out and we all stuck together. The tight knit community in southie is gone. The cost of living forced alot of family's to move out. I love south Boston though and i hope to live here for the rest of my life."
