7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat used to be a stellar star of a school has quickly declined since they've returned from Covid. In this school year alone my child has been assaulted by another student, bullied by several different students and I personally witnessed her teacher screaming at her. Her grades have dropped dramatically and her entire demeanor has changed since the beginning of the school year. For her first two years there I would never have dreamed of her going somewhere else but they have lost a lot of their staff and it seems like any teacher with patience is no longer there. "This tree-lined short street on a cul de sac provides a wonderful atmosphere for children, singles, couples, and retirees. The location is ideal since it is 10 minutes from downtown New Orleans as well as Lakeside Mall. It is close to healthcare facilities, groceries, pharmacies, fast-food and formal dining restaurants. You can easily walk to many of these locations and public transportation is available two blocks away on Veterans Memorial Blvd. The Neighborhood Watch is highly effective in this area, making residents feel secure and safe. The association's gated swimming pool provides a great place to relax in the sun or swim for exercise."
