Hopkins Elementary's staff (Teachers, Office staff, and principals included) need a lesson in respect, professionalism, and school policies 101. You get a different answer from each person you talk to regarding school policies. The schools website/parent portal contradict what parents are told in person. Overall, I truly hate having a child that goes to this school.

This school is by far the best in the county. Where it is such a smaller school then the rest of the schools in the county it allows the teachers to be more one on one with students which in turn makes for a better learning environment. The school has always promoted extracurricular activities and all the students are normally extremely involved with it. Their sports have always been the most competitive in the county even though they are smaller then rival schools. The school board is always looking for a way for the school to advance whether it be educational or infrastructure. All in all this school is an extremely good school not to mention it has the best school pride I’ve ever seen from a school.

Meece middle School is a public school with dedicated school staff, faculty and administrators. My son followed the instruction of his teachers. We assisted him with studying his subjects if not nightly then weekly. We found the parent portal helpful with following his progress. Robo calls and important hardcopy reminders from the principle advising on important test dates and prep info were helpful too. There are many more qualities this school has but time prohibits.
