Not a detail was missed in this Georgian colonial home perfectly positioned on a sprawling 3.75 acres on one of Louisville's most desirable and exclusive streets, Mockingbird Valley Drive. Originally built in 2008 by the Steier Company, this gorgeous home features over 9,000 finished square feet and includes all of features, spaces, and attention to detail that one would expect for this high end luxury offering. An elegant and formal entryway coupled with detailed moldings greet you upon entering with a formal dining room to your left and formal sitting room to your right, both with wood burning fireplaces. Make your way through the cross hall and you will find yourself in the heart of the home containing a spacious living room featuring built ins and a fireplace, connected to the open kitchen with robust granite island and high end appliances. The kitchen also features a large, walk in pantry, and is conventionally located by the back stairwell, mud area and laundry room, as well as the entrance to the 3 car garage. The back of the home features large windows and three pairs of French doors that overlook the meticulously maintained grounds as well as the dual brick patios, the upper level containing an outdoor brick fireplace. The first floor also features 10.5 foot ceilings as well as the private, primary suite with its own desk area, fireplace, gorgeous bay window, and spacious bathroom with tub and large shower. The oversized closet features custom built ins as well as dressing space. Make your way up the main stairwell to the second floor and you will be welcomed by an open, yet cozy, living room. All four secondary bedrooms are oversized and feature large, walk in closets, and two sets of rooms share their own jack and jill bathroom. The second floor also conveniently features its own laundry room. The basement of the home features 10.5 foot ceilings and a first class bar and entertaining kitchen overlooking the spacious family room with perfectly positioned double sided fireplace. Two other large flex rooms are located in the basement, one currently being used as a gym and the other being utilized as a guest bedroom flanked by a full bathroom. The basement also contains tons of unfinished storage space and a second stairwell to the main floor. There is no shortage of natural light in the walkout basement as there is a wall of windows and french doors that open up to a lower level brick patio. 32 Mockingbird Valley Drive is one of the most coveted properties surrounding Louisville Country Club and is ready for a new owner to call it home.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKammerer has been a great fit for 3 of my children. They transitioned with friends from elementary school and that helped them grow emotionally. Middle school is a hard time and full of learning opportunities inside and outside the classroom. Since KMS is not a huge school - I’ve been able to meet every staff member over the years and watch their styles of teaching. The new explorer program has elevated learning. My student is engaged in all her classes, band and engineering. She has a good balance of sports and clubs. We as a family have no doubt where our little one will head in a few years.Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 32 Mockingbird Valley Dr.

"I bought my house in South Louisville near Wyandotte a year and a half ago. I love how convenient my house is to downtown as well as the interstate. I have awesome neighbors all around and we all look out for each other and keep our street pretty safe compared to most other affordable neighborhoods in Louisville and It is a short walk to plenty of food places and the grocery store and pubs. Very little traffic at any given time.! The best part is the diversity, healthy mix of renters and owner occupied homes. Also, people of many different cultures live in harmony here , old and young. That and a great place to be yourself . I would consider it very LGBT accepting and friendly also. Most of my neighbors have been here for 10 years or more . You really can’t beat it for affordability and convenience!"
