Wonderfully updated Old Louisville 2nd floor condominium offering in-unit laundry, off-street parking, and a private balcony off the great room. Newer built 1993 structure, but located in the Old Louisville Preservation District which mixes the old with all the desired modern conveniences. And the outdoor common staircases were recently reconditioned and re-built by the association. The unit offers an open floor plan, with a great room that encompasses the living and dining areas, and opens to the fully equipped galley style kitchen. This unit is full of natural light and is laid out wonderfully for entertaining. The kitchen includes all appliances along with a new (2018) stacking washer & dryer, recently updated glass tile backsplash, lovely quartz countertops, and additional cabinetry and storage that was built around the fridge. Fresh paint throughout with neutral colors, and new carpeting has been added to living areas and both nicely-sized bedrooms in 5/2020. Off the main living area, enjoy your own private balcony through sliding glass doors. The newly renovated full bath has an updated tub/shower surround, new commode, and new flooring and vanity. New Water Heater also installed in 2020. This is truly a move in ready unit from top to bottom. There are 2 off-street parking spaces in the rear community parking lot with alley access. Location is convenient to everything Old Louisville has to offer including dining, dog parks, Olmsted's Central Park with outdoor theatre, entertainment venues, interstate access and all the neighborhood's seasonal fairs and festivals along with the downtown business district, Waterfront Park and Louisville International Airport. This is a great deal on a wonderfully updated unit. Priced to sell quickly. The low monthly maintenance fee of $195 covers exterior maintenance, grounds keeping, snow removal, water/sewer & master insurance. Be sure to check out the Virtual Tour in the MLS. PLEASE NOTE - the ceiling in the kitchen is being repaired from refrigerator leak in unit above.

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you wants to attend a good high school, you are fortunate if you choose this school. You will have access to classrooms that are conducive to learning. These spaces are likely bright, clean, and well-organized, with comfortable seating and ample space for movement. In addition, This school likely employs knowledgeable and passionate teachers who are dedicated to helping you achieve your academic goals. They may use a variety of teaching methods to keep you engaged and motivated, and they may provide opportunities for hands-on learning and collaboration with my peers. Overall, my school is an excellent place to learn and grow, both academically and personally. I am lucky to be a part of such a supportive and enriching community.Student Review4mo ago - Meyzeek Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm only in the first day 7th grade so this opinion might well change, but I'll say it anyway. My 6th grade teachers were absolutely phenomenal and I would definitely take it again (21-22 class, in the Explorers team) given the chance. I cannot stress enough how great the teachers were. I wish Meyzeek did the same looping style as Highland Middle I don't really know what to feel about my 7th grade teachers, but thus far, they seem good enough - certainly very energetic and welcoming of the students, which brings me to my primary concern about the school. The teachers and staff are fine, given a few biased exceptions. What isn't so great is the students. You will encounter name-calling, fighting, and horseplay around every corner you turn. The staff are trying to proactively resolve this problem and do have security cameras in place to identify students involved in potentially more dangerous tussles. Not just this, but the restrooms. The restrooms appear pretty good in 6th grade, but once you move to 7th, the doors become very, very short. It's not that big of a deal, considering it's the case with a good number of other JCPS schools, but the difference is pretty shocking when you've become used to the "better" ones (a very broad term - it depends on what kind of bathroom shenanigans students decide to pull, leaving the poor janitor to clean it up. He deserves a raise.) The lunch food is the same as everywhere else, but if you've been eating school lunch for multiple years, you won't get the extreme bouts of food poisoning mentioned in other reviews (to my experience, at least). One newly introduced rule is the ban of hoodies and I feel that this is a step in the wrong direction, but certainly a good way to prevent people from wearing hoods so often - another problem in the school, albeit it doesn't mean much to students. The arrival and dismissal is generally pretty smooth. I don't think I have anything else to say, but one thing you should watch out for is lines. They're generally pretty chaotic, given there's not a teacher watching over them at all times.Student Review1y ago - Check out schools near 1125 S 1st St #11.

"There’s just really no place for your dogs to play, there’s roads and alleys everywhere. People drive really fast on the road and it makes it dangerous for the animals. Lots of the yards aren’t fenced in and lead right into the alleys. And most yards aren’t maintained well enough for a dog."
