N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad a son that went to this school in the past it was a great school then with great staff working there..I was really happy with a teacher he had Mrs Kobodie she was so kind and supporting.. I now have my little girl going to this school and do not feel the same as I use to.. I think it is still an OK school but some the staff are rude not only with me but my child as well..This needs to be fixed after all these children are special not a burden.Parent Review8y ago - Levy Sp Ed Center

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son goes to Price-Harris as magnet students. We are very pleased with the school, the staff, the teachers and the leadership. They communicate well and I believe this school is one, if not the best, USD259 option.Parent Review6y ago - Sowers Alternative High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school does a good job of doing what they can with the resources available and the level of parent involvement. There is very little parent involvement at this school. Parent-teacher conferences bring around 15-20% of the parents (and its often the parents you don't need to talk to), yet sport events bring well over 50% of the parents. It really shows where priorities are for parents. Teachers getting yelled at and cussed out by parents is part of the school culture and is expected by teachers. I still recommend this school to parents, but just know your student is going to see students that are used to being right all the time (even when they're wrong). It's a great school for students that want to learn. It's an AVID National Demonstration School! That is a rare honor.Teacher Review2y ago - Metro Blvd Alt High School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhen I attended Southeast, the advanced placement program was a good fit. However, when students fall outside of the advanced placement program educational opportunities become more limited. The school itself has seen several structural improvements over the past few years, so that's an improvement. As far as a public school goes, I would say this one is middle of the road but if your child participates in the advanced placement program it would be upgraded from that designation.Other Review10y ago - Chisholm Life Skills Center

"I've literally had my back gate bent, broken, and pulled open to steal my husky out of my backyard through the utility access alleyway. it's not a safe area to let your dog out unattended. I was home and it happened within 5 minutes of simply letting my dog out to use the restroom. I have cameras installed around the perimeter of my house. I would suggest cameras installed as a standard. not just a doorbell camera. "

"People letting their dogs bark constantly. Down my street from my house is a four plex and cops show up at least 1 or 2 times a week. Neighbors are very rude and inconsiderate to other people’s schedules. Lots of strays. And lots of random people walking around constantly. "
