Description
This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
I'm a licensed real estate broker in the State of WA and am fine if you have an agent to represent you and I will pay a 2.5% fee to them on the sale of this property, I will expect them to draft the sale contract. This is an "as is" sale, an inspection is fine but no work will be completed for the buyer. Inspection is informational only. The property has had many updates since 2007 including upgraded electrical panels, plumbing, along with complete tear off and new roof plus gutters installed in Spring 2014, new heaters installed in all units in Fall of 2014. Each unit has walk in closet.
I personally lived part time in one of the units (unit 2) for 6 years while my father was in a nursing home, post a bad accident which changed his life and made him bed and wheelchair bound. He has passed on and I am ready to move on in selling the unit since I no longer need the space. While living there, I spent enormous effort and expense in improving a building that the last seller had let go. As a real estate agent who sees lots of buildings, I was charmed by the uniqueness of the building, architectural details, and potential. We improved it immensely and the neighborhood has been improving with it.
DO NOT CONTACT TENANTS - they do not know the building is for sale.
This adorable, brick facade apartment building has 4 charming units each with one bedroom, one bath, nice sized living areas and walk in closets, all near downtown and popular Old Town. Walking distance to the popular Donut Whole Coffee Shop on Douglas, Spice Merchant, The Anchor, Heroes Sports Bar and all the rest of the downtown specialties!
This apartment building is a fourplex that has a unique 1940's feel to it. We have tried to keep them original as best we could with the original telephone nook, and glass doorknobs, archways and glass paned French doors separating the bedrooms where possible. Faux fireplaces add charm. All electrical was upgraded in 2007 to 100 amp panels per unit and a house panel in the basement. Potential to add storage units there for additional cash flow. Has had one new roof during my ownership, replaced water heater 2x now, some plumbing updated and some bathrooms updated since 2007. Appliances have been replaced as they've been needed to replace, same as the toilets in the bathrooms. About 1/3 of the windows have been replaced and recent tuckpointing completed in the past 5 years.
Here's additional details:
Kitchen has oven and fridge. No dishwashers and all original cabinetry, some with decorative cabinets with glass doors, evoking the era. Eat-in dining area next to each kitchen.
Carpet in living room, bedroom, linoleum in kitchen, tile in bath in most units.

Each unit has provided a Deposit of $350.00

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHad a son that went to this school in the past it was a great school then with great staff working there..I was really happy with a teacher he had Mrs Kobodie she was so kind and supporting.. I now have my little girl going to this school and do not feel the same as I use to.. I think it is still an OK school but some the staff are rude not only with me but my child as well..This needs to be fixed after all these children are special not a burden.Parent Review8y ago - Levy Sp Ed Center

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was nervous enrolling my children in this school due to the low test scores and what others said. I was wrong to worry!! My Kindergartener and First Grader have excelled during their time there. The teachers are wonderful. They are very patient with my over active little ones, and are always available to answer questions. There are so many activities that we as a family don't have time to participate in all of them. My children are in latchkey, and most of the time they beg me to stay when I pick them up. I am very impressed by the communication from the school in regards to my children. The only negatives I have are that they only have 1 recess, which doesn't seem like enough time for kids to be kids; and that the Parentlink has been down all year so I am unable to keep track of the children's progress without bothering the school (which they deal with well.) Overall very happy with this school.Parent Review9y ago - Wells Alternative Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school generally has decent services for its situation. Being predominately lower-middle class, it’s fairly standard for a suburban school in a city of its size. Behavioral problems, while not rampant, certainly affect the student body. Generally, the Pre-IB program is quite well performing academically, and is largely satisfactory, as for the neighborhood students, performance tends to vary, although it is somewhat lacking.Other Review2y ago - East High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe stairs are so unpleasant to look at. The teachers are constantly eating chipotle and I have to fight hundreds of cockroaches just to get to class. Come home each day with bruises and wounds. Never taught how to evade taxes and now I'm homeless eating moldy Subway cookies off the sidewalk. Why is this getting no attention?Other Review2y ago - Metro Blvd Alt High School

"we have several animal lovers in our neighborhood, all breeds. Owners are very respectful of your property by not letting their dogs on your lawn. They are also on leashes. I have seen some without, but they were strays. The neighbors are quick to update pics. and ingo to find their owners. And I love that. we all watch out for each other.and our animals."
