    "A very nice area that feels safe and friendly. Lots of walkers, joggers, and cyclists about on nice days, many with their dogs. It's about a half-mile to a large upscale shopping and restaurant area, so while it could be walked most hop in the car for the short drive. At least 2 grocery stores are within a half-mile, too, as are gas stations and a full-service car wash. I-435 is about two miles away by car, but part of the freeway is only about 1/2 mile from the northern portion of Hallbrook, so on days when the wind blows from the north there is some freeway noise. There are two areas within Hallbrook that are gated maintenance-included communities that area great for couples with a winter home."

Many safe walking & biking trails that go for miles through wooded areas and along streams. Great dining options at Mission Woods & Town Center. Quiet area with well kept houses and lawns. The Shawneed Mission schools are highly rated nationally. There are also a number of private and parochial schools in the area."
