Cool roommates, comes furnished with a desk, chair a small dresser with about 4 drawers and a bed frame and hard college mattress (I suggest getting a foam topper for the bed). About a 30 minute walk to IUPUI and 10 minutes by bike.

You will be renting one room in an apartment shared with 3 other rooms and roommates and a shared living room and kitchen.
All necessities are payed for but electricity (only variable) which changes whether in the winter or warmer seasons (Typically $25 - $30 per month). Other thing is Renters insurance which is $15 per month. Pet fees are also present (One time payment of $300 and monthly fees of $30). Must be ok with smoking, though the smell is gone pretty soon after.
Furnishing include in the room is (one desk, a chair, one bed frame (with firm mattress), two small dressers stacked to make a decently sized dresser. I suggest you bring Storage bins for clothes or extra storage.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current 8th Grade student in this school, I love it. The style of schooling might not be for everyone but I really enjoy it. I've been here since kindergarten and loved everything from elementary to middle school. I'm mostly leaving this review as I've noticed some very negative reviews from years back when middle school was just developing. Now though the middle school is great with tons of amazing teachers. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRecent Alum, Andrea Hunley ruined this school and played everyone just to get enough political clout to get herself a seat as a state senator. Would flaunt the achievements of the program and school as her own doing while the majority of students, families, and other facilities disliked her heavily made negative changes to long-standing school policies, and was an ineffective leader. If the woman couldn't handle an elementary and middle school with so few students she has no place in the state senate. She also used her position when appointed as principal to admit her own children skipping the lottery admissions process. I think the school does a really good job with providing a quality place to learn; many awesome teachers, some not as great, that's the way it would go at any school. The principal cares about the students and, in my experience, so do the teachers. They support the theory that it takes a village to raise a child and encourage parent involvement in the classroom and school. They work with parents if there is a problem and encourage you to reach out with absolutely any questions or concerns.
