8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy son went to crown point high school and they treated my son so bad I have to take my son out early. my son has a disability and I think either someone is bullying him or teasing and make fun of him because he don't talk to well or one of his teachers talking bad at me they don't like me at all I am too much trouble. I ask the teacher teach my son anything but since my son is in special ed. they refuse to teach him in higher grade. my son's teacher she never gave my son harder work and two doctors told me my son is very smart. I had nothing but trouble with this school and the treasure office keeps saying there is balance on the account for books and supplies why didn't they tell me first of the year. I paid first of year and now I have to pay additional money which to me I already paid why pay again all they said I owed the money. I have no respect from the teacher she sometimes answers my emails and everytime I ask what they do in that classroom all day she refuses to tell me. I am not allowed to know what they do in that classroom like it is big secret. my son can't read to well and he doesn't know no history the teacher and crown point school system refuses to teach my son any history, he doesn't know english, math is low for his age they seem not to worry about it all they want is force me put my son a certificate they say he is to dumb to do harder work. my son does harder work at home and he loves it why can't the teacher gives him harder work. all they give him is baby work he needs harder work so my son can get his high school diploma and two doctors told me he can get high school diploma if the school system teach him anything. the iep is a joke that is more for teacher and the school system everytime I ask put anything on iep or take something off they say oh we can't do that it isn't allowed. if your child has disability like my son my son has add and communication disorder, they should be trying to help my son instead of teaching my son nothing at all. I am putting my son in k12 online which seems much better for my son and they seem to care what I want and I get a teacher who knows how to communicate with the parent lot better and 80% learning online and 20% off line which is good my son is very good on the computer.if I had to do it all over I would just put my son in homeschooling from the start and never put him in public school .Parent Review7y ago - Robert Taft Middle School
