7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student, I must say that Bloomington Highschool Norths faculty helped me greatly in preparing for college level classes. It has classes for all skill levels, regular, honors, and AP. They also offer a great junior/ senior internship program that is known throughout the community, and gives students the opportunity to intern at IU, doctors offices, with the city, or where ever the student wishes as long as it is practical. It also offers some classes both from IU and Bloomington's Community college Ivy Tech North offers a great Fine Arts classes that have put out some national award winning pieces of art, a phenomenal English department and social studies department, and a pretty good science department. The school also has a strong group of administrators, some better than others. This school is not perfect just like any high school in the area or the country for that matter, there are some bad teachers, and kids that get away with things, but again it's hard not to find that anywhere.Other Review8y ago - University Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageA kindergarten teacher who hates kids shouldn’t be teaching. A 5th grade teacher that pressures and brainwashes her students against her own parents shouldn’t be teaching. All this school cares about is the rainbow flag. Kids are not allowed to talk during lunch they are yelled at if they do and threatened to not have recess all the time. So if you want your child to have a mental breakdown everyday send them to this school. Children are not robots. My kids ask to not go to school since they started it here. They used to love school. Be aware they have the kids locked up like in a prison and good luck trying to get your child out for a dr appointment but the whole back of the school where the kids play is not fenced. They don’t care about the kids they only care about themselves and their robotizing curriculum.Parent Review1y ago - Tri-North Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is now called The Academy of Science and Entrepreneurship. This is my daughter's 2nd year there. We love this school. They help individualize the child's education to put them on the right path for their future. Kid's can take college classes their 11th and 12th grade years and get college credits. It's all included in their high school education! They take bullying seriously! I know my child is safe and getting a great education!Parent Review8y ago - Bloomington Graduation School

"I love being a dog owner in my neighborhood mainly because my dogs plays with all the neighbor dogs. They are buddies now to the point I even dog watch and have doggie dates to get energy out! No complaints in my neighborhood about dogs because they are all either friendly but stay to themselves or they are actually involved in our daily lives where they are our pups friend. Love it a lot."

"As long as you’re living on the part that’s no where near Acadia courts then you’re good. People also run the stop sign on the Allendale Winslow entrance so you have to be super careful there, and people drive pretty fast on Allendale . If you have kids make sure you have a fence and not close to the main road "
