3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 2 children who attend Erskine and they love it there! Every teacher they’ve had has been kind and welcoming! They’ve all been very patient with me as I tend to reach out quite a bit with questions / concerns. It has been very clear to me how much the care for and appreciate my children. I’m so glad they attend this school!Parent Review3y ago - Highland Jr High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is little to no family engagement at this school. Parents are not invited into the building. This has been an underperforming school for quite some time; however, they keep doing the same things. I would love to see them change things up and do things differently - engage families, get them involved, get them in the school building. Do something different.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 4910 Buttercup Way.

"my neighborhood is close to downtown, close to the racetrack, and close to shopping. My neighborhood looks a little shady, but the people here look after each other, pick up after their dogs, and you can see kids playing outside. "

"The downtown area is very nice, it has a lot of things for adults to do. I do wish the parks were a little better. The majority of the people whom live here are trying to make it better for everyone. The schools are not terrible (I do know what their ratings are, and I don't agree with them) I think that the school scores will improve once the parents start getting involved more. The teachers my kids had were amazing. "

"There is a dog park on 8th and dewy, it is part of all. But surrounding neighborhoods aren’t that great. More likely to find away to take your pet as theirs. Usually if you mind your own and don’t make waves it’s alright."
