  • Trulia User
"Not any dog parks! They should make a few dog parks in this area! They might like all the sidewalks. They might like all the stores that sell dog treats and everything for pets! There are also a lot of veterinarians in this area. Even 24 hour emergency vets!"

"Keep children away, used to be a safe place... but not do much anymore! No parks, no schools, no recreational activities. Only thing for kids to do is get in trouble! SAD!!!"

  • Trulia User
"my neighborhood is close to downtown, close to the racetrack, and close to shopping. My neighborhood looks a little shady, but the people here look after each other, pick up after their dogs, and you can see kids playing outside. "

  • Trulia User
"The downtown area is very nice, it has a lot of things for adults to do. I do wish the parks were a little better. The majority of the people whom live here are trying to make it better for everyone. The schools are not terrible (I do know what their ratings are, and I don't agree with them) I think that the school scores will improve once the parents start getting involved more. The teachers my kids had were amazing. "

"There is a dog park on 8th and dewy, it is part of all. But surrounding neighborhoods aren’t that great. More likely to find away to take your pet as theirs. Usually if you mind your own and don’t make waves it’s alright."

"this neighborhood is a "quieter" area, but I wouldn't say it's a very good area for kids. There's a skatepark right down the street so there's lots of noise on days throughout the summer months. There's been gun shots heard all around, and my daughters scooter got stolen, and our cars have gotten broken into and things stolen. "
