Wheeling is a very diverse community. While some of the rental developments may be questionable, the residential areas (both single family and multi) are safe and friendly. No, it's not the North Shore, but you aren't paying for the status address either. With home buying being such a bargain nowadays, you'd be crazy not to invest in some of the "deals" in this area.
