9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family has lived in Washington for 15+ years, with 2 now graduated from WCHS. They have both received an excellent education with honors and AP credit classes that have helped them earn great college scholarships. The staff at the school is engaged with the community and communicates well. The school offers many athletic, band, and club opportunities and has good parent support of those programs. Nearby community center (Five Points) has library, pool, health club, and theater to support school activities.Parent Review10mo ago - Central Intermediate School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCentral District 51 provides many options for all levels of academic success. We moved to this district to provide our advanced children an opportunity challenge their academic skills. While at the school, we have met families touched by Central's attention to the children who require more assistance in their education. We've been very satisfied with our kids academic success.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 1015 W Mallard Way.

"I travel a lot my commute is not relevant. However, travel to Peoria from Washington has very little traffic compared to major cities. Travel to major cities can be a problem because the local airports (Peoria and Bloomington) are not hubs and have few options"
