The principal knows each students name and always greets the parents/guardians with respect and kindness. I love that it is a small school my children know alot of other students in higher grades. The preschool is excellent, my son was reading at 4 yrs old. The teachers are great as well as the office ladies. They also include alot of family activites which I feel make this school rapport stronger then some other schools in the area. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePleasantly surprised by Bloom Trail High School. My daughter is a high honor roll, Pre AP and AP student who has participated in band, ceramics and Drivers Ed. Trail was not in my choices of High Schools for my child, respectfully but I have no regrets in being a part of the family of parents, students, faculty, teachers and administrators at this school and in this district. That is what it is, a family. My daughter is well adjusted and excelling. She is well on her way to becoming a successful woman, with her societal and career goals firmly in sight. I am recommending this school and also encouraging vital parent participation and collaboration with the school, teachers, coaches, leaders and village as we raise successful and healthy adults, so essential to our communities. The diversity is as balanced as the focus on graduating young adults who are more than ready for the world. Good job. Keep up the good work, everyone. This Mom truly appreciates it. I was once a doubter and skeptic as a picky, discerning parent but now Trail and District 206 have my lifelong support and endearment. Go, Class of 2024 and all the rest! "I moved here from the big city. My neighbors on both sides & across the street have been wonderful. The men in the block takes care of the snow. When I’m not home or sick my garbages goes out. They have even cut my grass. Picks up after their dogs. July 4 Halloween events for all. Schools are great with great caring teachers. "

"life is great here family Young and lots of people quiet peace you can go hang out in the city of Chicago then come home to a quiet neighborhood listen to the birds chirping to the kids riding a bike skateboards and just fun you have other communities around you have other surrounding towns by Crete Monee University Park Park Forest great restaurants to eat at enjoy life you can make life short we can make life livable and Steger Illinois"

"Honestly the commute is really not bad. Your close to the train station minutes drive from Chicago and near Colleges and your choice of private school if needed. The new roads and development have further made this area a decent place to live."

"For the most part people who have dogs are able to walk them in the neighborhood. Those with more than one pup have gated yards/fences. There are a few people who’s dogs get loose front there yard but that is a very small percentage. This is a dog friendly neighborhood."
