"You can’t get anywhere without going onto Route 120, which is generally backed up with traffic. Once you get past the 134 and Hainesville Rd. Intersections, it gets better."

"I love my neighborhood I'm originally from Chicago and moved here for 15 years ago, I am planning on moving but only about 15 minutes away. my husband and I have decided to stay in the area we love it so much the ice cream truck still comes around, and Halloween the parents still take the children around and dress-up themselves. I have very nice Neighbors and talked to several different families around I will miss this area but like I said not moving far. they take good care of the streets lawns in the neighborhood. love living in Round Lake"

"we have a lot of events the people are extremely nice, in the summer and ice cream truck still runs the neighborhood kids trick or treat like they used to a long time ago in the parents are with them they have a designated day to do it! so you can prepare for the kids yes, I love everything about it, and even though I have to leave soon I'm hoping to move in some place extremely close stay in Round Lake or move just 10-15 minutes away taps it's beautiful here. I've been blessed to be part of this community for 14 years now."

"If you live here, make sure you select a subdivision that feeds into Grayslake schools. Taxes are higher, but worth it. "

"We are close to the library and park district. We are also close to a public pool. We have a lake county forest preserve trail behind us and there is a frisbee golf park near us. "

"I have lived in the area for a year. I love it. Everyone takes care of their houses, goes for walks, supports the community. I have also worked in the community for 14 years. The schools are nationally ranked in US News and Word Report and everything is looking upward for RL! "

"I live in this area and would not live anywhere else in Illinois. safe area, near many lakes, access to water, great neighbors, good value for the money. new downtown is currently in development. now is the time to move to this area as the prices for homes are increasing daily."

"Having lived in the Round Lake area for the last 8 years, I can attest to the area being nice for couples, families, and singles. I have lived in the Prairie Pointe subdivision for ~5 years and the Valley Lakes subdivision for ~3 years. Both communities are peaceful and well maintained. There are nice parks and fields in both, so there is plenty of space for kids to play."
