3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved here this year. It has been such a relief in comparison to our previous school. So far all of the teachers have been great. Everyone treats my child with respect. A great learning environment.Parent Review2y ago - Rock Island High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to love the Rock Island/Milan School District. I really did. I took pride the the district and then I saw first hand how administrators (HR department) treated staff members.Parent Review4y ago - Rock Island Academy

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI think this school is awesome. I can only rate it average because I'm applying the rate to all aspects of the school. Students are not meeting the statewide test expectations, but they work hard and learn. I feel welcome, and I feel that my daughters have an awesome teacher that is open to my ideas and is willing to help me create a wonderful educational journey for them. My kids will not be turned off by the awesome staff here. After visiting several other buildings, including high performing ones, I still chose the RI Academy for my children.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 540-44 21st St #6AVE-17.

"From the middle of the city at 6 a.m. the commute is very simple and easy. There isn't much traffic until after 7 a.m closer to school starting and even then, its still not very congested. "

"It’s a good neighborhood I liked growing up here but I plan on moving out of Rock Island for a reason. A lot of people here can be belligerent drunks and the fact that save more now sells alcohol has only made that worse. I use to walk there alone as a kid before but I wouldn’t dare do that now even as a grown adult I won’t walk there alone at night."

"I live walking distance from my job but traffic in this area is never bad. Public transit is limited. There are buses but they run a limited schedule. Never fly in on the last flight of the night and expect to find a cab. They just stop running. "
