2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest Son went to Eastlawn for 2 years (Kindergarten and 1st Grade) His Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Stafford is an AWESOME teacher. Communication with her was excellent! Wish I could say the same about his 1st Grade teacher..Parent Review10y ago - J W Eater Jr High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school doesn’t care at all about the mental health of the students. The entire school is going crazy. The racist and homophobic kids are being allowed to just do and say whatever, People are recording all the fights that happen at school everyday and posting it on social media and I see kids literally jumping on the desks, throwing things at people and teachers not even being in the classroom half the time that this is happening. As someone who deals with anxiety and lots of other things seeing what is happening in these classrooms is making things so much worse. I can imagine how other kids who are actually there to learn and not play around are feeling. Get it together and stop letting the kids walk all over y’all. this is by far the worst school I’ve ever attended to and it’s definitely NOT a safe learning environment for ANYONE.Student Review1y ago - Northview Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth my sons went to Rantoul Township High School. The counselors seemed only to be interested in those students who wished to attend college. If a student was not interested they received no help to steer them to other avenues of study or employment after high school.I personally met with my son's 'counselor' and saw this first hand. The school's student body is rowdy and boisterous.Students seem to come to school in the morning not to learn but to socialize and take out grudges against others.Parent-Teacher conferences were worthless because by the time we learned of our student's weakness it was too late to influence his turn around for a higher grade or to help learn what was not learned when the curriculum moved on to a different level. The graduation rate of African-American students is pitiful. Out of 199 black students 13% do not graduate high school.I was assigned to this school in an official capacity for 12 years and was at the school at least 3 times a week.Based on the current State test scores, no significant changes have been made, to date.Almost 100 pupils of the entire student body do not graduate!Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 411 E Campbell Ave.

"There are many diverse families in this area; this community has 5 parks with varying age appropriate equipment; this specific area consists of townhomes and duplexes next to a golf course. The town itself is located 9 miles from a university town; 30 minutes from Willard airport and an hour from Bloomington airport. "

"Our neighboorhood doesn't do anything community wise. Everyone pretty much stays to themselves. The village as a whole does have a night out on the town that is family friendly. "

"There’s nothing here. A lot of people move here from Chicago and bring crime. It use to be a good city till the jobs dried up and the base closed. Now there’s a slaughterhouse paying min wage with most the payroll on parole. "
