"Bud Biliken Parade, the car and boat shows are the only community event I’m aware of. Unfortunately more needs to happen in this area. I’m happy to finally see a decent grocery’s store such as Mariano’s. I heard a Pete’s grocery store is coming soon so I’m hopeful that some of these anchor stores will be an attraction for more retail businesses in the community. We shouldn’t have to depend on events at McCormick place."

"Children should be heading home when the streets lights come on. The crime isn’t so extreme but if you are outside with nothing to do that’s when trouble finds you. I have great neighbors and live on a quiet block where people jog and walk there dogs. "
