9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDon’t go to lp if you care about your education. There are some AMAZING teachers but only 1/6 of your teachers will be good. A lot of my time at school was not spent learning or doing anything. There is a lack of structure and nothing is enforced, which was technically a benefit, but also had bad effects. There are pros and cons and I have very mixed feelings about my experience at Lincoln park. I felt like I had a lot of freedom but the school itself feels so much like prison. Many many issues with schedules, the actual schedule itself is terrible because its the same 8 classes everyday. Ive had both 3rd and 7th period lunch and it was miserable having to be starving all day. It feels very self directed and you can do whatever you want. THERE ARE CONSTANTLY SCANDALS AND INCIDENTS. I find it comedic and entertaining at this point but there are so many things going on. Lincoln park IS a fun high school but only if you are social and have friends. Administration is really just lacking in so many areas. This school is A JOKEEE but I love it. Hate it tho. Idk. I wouldn’t want to go to lane or jones or anywhere else though!!!!!Other Review1y ago - Skinner North Elementary School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe admin would say no to any suggestion from parents. They say they welcome any suggestion, but each time when parents raise suggestions, the reply would be like: we have done the best, so there is nothing can be improved. The place has bad driving and parking conditions, and they just set rules to make it worse and wait to parent to solve the problem. They only want parents to do all the school jobs, including teaching, fundraising and traffic. There are good teachers, but there are also some teachers who don't care about teaching and only want more vacation during school days. They really rely on good students who are self-motivated or family-motivated. The majority of the students study extra materials or class from parents, and the school is only a social place. Half of the students can't wait going to Academic Center when 6 grade.Parent Review1mo ago - Check out schools near 900 N Kingsbury St #759.

"West Towner since 2002. Ohio & Ashland since 2010. Know your neighbors. Park your car. Walk your dog. Easy transit to downtown. If we could just keep the values and rents reasonable it would stay the place I came to know and love."

"Great location close to everything. Fantastic 1-acre private park along the river! Suburban feel right in the heart of the city."
- Sandra Z.

"Not too loud, not to quiet. Plenty of restaurants to walk to but doesn't have a bunch of loud drunk people walking by. Great bike lanes all around (Milwaukee and Elston). Easy access to Blue Line, #56 Bus and getting on the highway. Walk to west side of loop in 25 minutes. Residents are generally around 28 to 40 yrs so maybe a 34yr old average. "
