This stunning 2BR, 2BTH home has been COMPLETELY REMODELED with all new hardwood flooring, a brand new kitchen with solid wood cabinetry, stainless appliances & granite counters, and an absolutely gorgeous master bath with ample storage. Other improvements include an Ecobee smart thermostat, custom built-in shelving in the closets, new heating and air-conditioning system and new hot water heater (2018). There's nothing to do but just move in to this impeccably updated home with a great split-bedroom floor plan and open feel. The spacious and sun-filled, south-facing living area is larger than most and features high ceilings, a wood-burning fireplace and built-in book cases. The kitchen opens to the dining area and also to a large private back deck with tree-top views. Good storage throughout including a nicely sized storage unit in the basement. All this in a well managed classic Chicago Greystone building with beautiful professional landscaped backyard with brick patio area and all new decks. "The parks are often visited by dogs when empty, and that will never change. Uptown/Sheridan Park needs a dog park comparable to “Puptown” at Lawrence & Marine. "

"This area is still up and coming.... there are a lot of homeless people around and they are often aggressive and uncomfortable. So I stay home at night and don't walk around. I've had 5 men try to intimidate me in the alleyway that i have to use to get to my apartment, I've seen another homeless man use the bathroom (number 2) in that same alleyway. I can't wait to get out of this area. I'm sure in time - it'll be better. But right now, it's not safe."

"Many families, clean sidewalks, very green, lots of pet owners. However, some parts of uptown (closer to the lake) are still pretty crime’y. Overall though, I see more and more families and working professionals moving in, which is a great sign."
