Description

Behind the handsome 19th-century facade of the historic Manchester Building in Bucktown, this striking 2-bedroom, 2-bath loft has been recently renovated and fully upgraded for contemporary luxury living. Upon entering into the expansive open-concept living and dining space, you'll find abundant oversized windows that look out to the shaded tranquility of Charleston Street. Exposed brick walls, 12' ceilings, massive timber beams, and the fireplace with its new solid-plank mantel add dramatic flair. Hardwood floors flow into the beautifully designed and updated kitchen where home chefs will delight in brand new stainless appliances, quartz counters, custom cabinets, and a large butcher block island. The primary bedroom has been newly redone and features a generous, fully organized walk-in closet. The en suite bath has extensive designer tiling, a dual vanity, and a spa-inspired walk-in shower. Both bedrooms are spacious and fully enclosed and there is new lighting throughout. A large utility room offers extra storage and a side-by-side washer and dryer, and there is a bonus room that would be ideal for an office or nursery. This exceptional residence has character, style, and plenty of space with easy access to all that Bucktown has to offer. Minutes from shops, restaurants, the 606 Trail, CTA Blueline and the Kennedy Expressway. Don't miss out on this gem!

"Was an interesting neighborhood that became over-gentrified and lost all that made it desirable. Chain businesses that you can find in any suburban mall have replaced local spots.. Has lost any sense of diversity or culture "

"Plenty of dogs in the neighborhood to have play dates with and to always keep your dog entertained. 3 dog parks close by too. Easy way to make friends and get to know your neighbors is to simply take a walk around the block. "

"Crowded! The blue line is a disaster at Damen and Division stops from 6:30-9am. Be prepared to squish in after allowing 1-2 trains go back full with wall to wall. It’s extremely stressful and frustrating EVERY DAY!"
