7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKolb school is an amazing school. The teacher, staff and administration go above and beyond to make sure all the kids are safe, academically challenged, and also happy. My kids are excited to actually go to school every day as they love it. The school really strives to make sure all students get the best education all while having fun. Definitely makes families who want to move to Oak Lawn/chicago ridge area inclined to do so as Kolb school is phenomenal. Both the principal and assistant principal take the time to know the students even by name and give them encouragement. It’s not always that is the fact in schools. I definitely recommend this school and thought it deserves recognition as they exceeded my expectations. Teachers also are really qualified and offer additional assistance if needed which is great.Parent Review2y ago - Simmons Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageImprovements needed for transportation to and from school, especially for students that need to stay after school. Students would benefit from an increase in variety of resources available to them for subjects that they struggle with, not only math lab for example. The school should be providing options for students that have other obligations to their family, work or sports that do not allow them to attend. As for safety, i would like to hear that there are not so many fights during the school day. Having a group email/chat for parents initiated by the actual coach of their sport/team would be a HUGE improvement as well.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 7005 99th St #3.

"it's a quiet place, usually. neighbors appear nice, but I don't know them. I can't think of any specific reason to feel unsafe. it's not too far, from businesses or city life. it's close to I-294, and there are metra stops, nearby. not much to do, if you don't have children. the cinema is very nice & cozy.
