"My neighborhood is great, it’s friendly, and nice. But it all depends where u live, and/or on which side of brookfield. Also most of the schools are horrible, and the children are very rude. I live on a ok street except we are the corner house and there is a truck company right next to us. So it gets loud at times. Our neighbor in the back plays loud music and shoots fireworks at night when we try to sleep, but the parks are well maintained, and nice."

"Well it’s not the friendly neighbors. Everybody pretty much keeps to themselves. You have some houses that are going for 400,000 while other houses are only worth 180 K"

"The Hollywood section of Brookfield is a coveted area of Brookfield with nationally rated elementary and high schools. It's like Mayberry. The elementary school is small k-5 with 110 students. Parents very involved. The BNSF is in walking distance. Great for commuters to the city."

"We've lived here for 38 years. Our children grew up here, and we grew old here. The schools are great, the people are friendly, there's good transportation, and the zoo is a wonderful place to take the kids....or to just take a nice walk and enjoy the animals and nature!! Downtown Chicago and the Western Suburbs are not far away.... especially if you take the train. Brookfield's not big, but it's a great place to live!! "
