2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has undergone some big changes recently starting with the administration and nearly a quarter of the staff. The school is kept orderly and running smoothly with discipline being taken care of promptly and effectively. Education of the whole child is evident through student interactions and the respect shown by both students and teachers. Many wonderful children have gone through Oak Park and some have gone on to do great things, setting the stage for those that will follow in their footsteps, including one wining the Bill and Melinda Gates Scholarship. It will continue to be an positive attraction for those in the Aurora community as they continue to grow together.Other Review11y ago - Fred Rodgers Magnet Academy

"It was mostly quiet but I honestly did not spend too much time outside my own neighborhood growing up. The area by Washington middle school and San sucy was very nice and the people were nice. Nice nature trail near by and lots of activities for families. I do not currently live in the area any longer and have not for years but as I remembered it, it was lovely and you never had to worry about your kids playing outside since everyone was so friendly and knew each other. Overall the people in the San sucy area were what the neighborhood great. Looked out for each other and always looked out for each other’s pets when they ran from the house."
