"We have a multi-neighborhood picnic every year. It is really easy to make friends here. I have several life long kinds of friendship from living here since 1996. This neighborhood has the James Castle house as well. It's been restored and acts a an art museum of sorts. There are neighborhood groups you can join. Everything is within minutes of your door."

"You will love living in Edwards Corridor. I lived in this house for a couple of years and loved both the house and the neighborhood. With the creek and greenhouses out back and hill view out front, it is a truly magical little area. Part of the magic is Edwards Nursery at the end of the road. It's like having a park outside your doorstep. I worked from home at the time, and my work breaks consisted of walking two seconds down the road and touring the Edwards park and greenhouses. Since I moved out, the 36th St. Garden Centre and Bistro has popped up (walking distance from the house), and that's a great neighborhood hangout and fabulous edition to this area. I still travel out to that neighborhood to meet up with friends at the Bistro and browse the adjacent gift shop, which is one of the best in town. If you're a cyclist (mountain biker or roadie), this is the perfect location for you. Hill Rd. is a road rider's dream, or just cross Hill and ride up one of the many trails if you'd prefer a cross-country ride. There are plenty of surrounding parks to walk your dog and play with your children. I don't have kids, but friends with kids swear by the Collister-area schools. As for the house, it's great for entertaining and hosting. Lots of room for everyone, yet still has a cozy feel. I've always loved the open living area, and have dreamed of knocking out the kitchen wall to make it one giant space. The custom kitchen cabinets and dining room built-ins were really well done. It's a bright, welcoming home that would be wonderful for a family or even just a couple. We will miss this house when it's no longer "in the family," but our loss is your gain. You will love it. We did."
