1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school for 6th and 7th grade before moving schools. The teachers were great, I loved my teachers. I understood what they were teaching me and I understood what they expected of me. My biggest problem with the school is the students in it and the lack of control the adults in the building had over the students. I was an extremely quiet student and kept to my self, but I was always very aware. Kids would yell at teachers that they’re terrible at there job, they’d fight in the hallways, and were generally extremely disrespectful. For comparison, at the school I’m attending currently when I tell stories of things that happened they all stare at me like I’ve come from a different world completely. This isn’t normal. The school needs help, the district itself needs help.Student Review3y ago - Wilson Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love that my child attends Wilson Elementary! The staff is so caring and puts for the the additional effort to make sure he succeeds. They communicate often and my child enjoys going to school every day.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 3225 W Lombard St.

"Everyone has at least 2 dogs. Our block alone is home to 17! We also have a very narrow street and people park their motorhomes right in front of their houses. And there's always at least one guy shooting off fireworks, no matter the time of year. it's a hoot. "

"Lots of children play in the area, the park is a safe and popular area, and the majority of the properties are well maintained? The only negative i have for the area, is that cars seem to travel a bit faster than i would like with all the children who roam the neighborhood. "

"I grew up in this neighborhood and have been back here for 3 years. I love our little West End community. People are friendly, and look out for one another. But they also just let you do you and they don't sweat the small stuff. They mind their own business, and yet care about one another. It's a great neighborhood for laid back people."
