Spacious back yard with a fire pit along with a one car garage (mostly used for storage unless you have a compact car). Nice spacious front porch with plenty of room for seating and hosting guests. The plaster walls on the entire main floor and bathroom were removed and replaced with drywall along with adding all new insulation. Bathroom and kitchen were completely remolded along with tearing down the kitchen diving wall and adding an island. This was all done in the beginning of 2022. Washer and dryer are located in the basement. Pets can be permitted with landlord approval. An additional 500 dollar security deposit is required for certain pets. Rent is 1600 per month with a 1600 dollar security deposit. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwesome teachers but miserable administration at all levels. So worried about political correctness that they will not back their teachers, and will not AT ALL focus on an effective learning environment for those who simply want to learn. The Ames school system as a whole needs a complete review of discipline policies - student violence against teachers and fellow students is absolutely out of control . EA's are not valued, so help for students with with special needs is also at risk .
