I walk everywhere and it is even possible to walk to Waikiki if you are in general good health. Of course you need to avoid the expensive parking fees in the downtown area."

"Central to everything and to the freeway I like that I can walk to the stores near me. I do live on one main busy road where people have side swiped my car with no cares being that we have to park on the street. Plus there’s a half way house down the road from us so it’s a little scary."

"There are plenty of dogs but not all the businesses are dog friendly, nor is Hawaii all that dog friendly for that matter. The more crowded it gets the harder it is to walk a dog who does not get along socially with other dogs. "
