BACKGROUND: The HI based, Russian-born, Berkeley-trained architect, Ossipoff, declared "War on ugliness" in the islands starting in 1931 and had a major/magnificent effect on homes and offices.
Ours is one of his finest: It is built INTO the land; not on it - with a 90' driveway in the rear and elevated 30' above the front street, this house literally 'disappears' providing uncommon privacy, seclusion and security.

The stained concrete flooring was unheard of when he used it in the living room and lanai. Other areas are tile and hardwood.

Giant, sliding, glass doors front the entire living room facing Diamondhead (we're almost eye-level with the top of Diamondhead).

Cigarette and cigar smoking in not allowed anywhere on site. 420 OK outside.

Owner pays pool-care weekly, WIFI (basic) and garbage ($500 value). 30 day stays pay no utilities; longer stays must transfer all utilities into their name/s.

Renter's insurance required for stays longer than 3 mos.

A cleaning fee of $500 (and possibly more if damages occur) will be deducted from the security deposit.
