9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI recently moved here and it's a pretty good school. They do make us walk around on a line which is very annoying because we aren't little kids, we are almost adults. Also if you don't have P. E. or agriculture you do not get to go outside at all during the day, leaving lunch as our only time to really talk and they do give us "silent lunch" and make us sit "by teams" which is also very annoying because if you are in honors for example and have a friend who isn't, you will never get to see them during the day. The teachers are very nice and the admin are too. There are lots of things for us to do and many clubs too. It's one of my favorite schools I have been too!Student Review1mo ago - Houston County High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLake Joy is a great school with quality teachers and administrators. The environment is nurturing and kindness is something you will see everywhere in the school. From the lunch room to the front office, I am always greeted and treated very respectfully. Art is my child's favorite and the Art teacher is very kind and encourages creativity through many engaging art lessons. The PE teacher is fun and my child enjoys the games and activities she participates in. The Music/Chorus teacher is warm-hearted and caring as well as knowledgeable in her curriculum. The front office staff is personable, yet professional. My child's teachers have always been fair, firm, and have had high expectations for excellence in learning. I love Lake Joy and I feel blessed that my child attended this school for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade. Lake Joy is the BEST school in Houston County!Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 724 Post Oak Way.

"I work at Houston Medical Center in Warner Robins, located right off of Watson Boulevard, so my commute is only 5 or so minutes. Traffic becomes horrendous once the day moves on however, my shift starts at 5:30am so I miss most of that on my morning commute. "

"They don’t allow pets at all, no exceptions on sizes, breeds or types, no cats or dogs. If you love in with an animal, and they find out, they will charge a HUGE pet fee, and will not allow you to move in to any other rentals they may have available at the time. Also getting deposits back from the rental company is a long and difficult process."
- Larry T. J.

"It is in the center of the state and well known as a great city to raise kids (not too small or too big). Warner Robins is great for retired workers and or military yet a growing college environment for the youth."

"I moved here from out of state. It’s a different kind of town in that many people come and go due to the military base. It’s not a bad town but a little bit too conservative for me. "
