3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI enrolled my kid here in 2018. Not even a month later, she came crying to me and told me she was getting bullied. The teachers and staff did not take it seriously and did not even try to help her. I took her out of that school ASAP. DONT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD EXPERIENCE FOR YOUR CHILD. She now is afraid to walk in her new school fearing that she will get bullied again with the staff not doing anything. I enrolled her in Idlewood and she has been doing better now. The teachers at this school are rude, careless, and impatient with you and your child. Meanwhile, the staff at her new school are caring and respectful. She got bullied there once but the teachers rushed to take care of it as soon as they could. They are very nice and welcome all races. Don't put your child here.Parent Review1y ago - Tucker High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has really fallen in quality from when the long-standing principal left at the end of 2017. The next year saw three different principals, as the person hired first was an utter disaster in terms of fit with the school. Now, six years later, the school rating here has gone from a 7 to a 3, and it shows. The principal is exhausted and bumbling. The assistant principals are clueless. None of them are strong leaders and none of them make their presence known among the students, except in the lunchroom. Students complain regularly about the teachers, the bullying, and the lack of resources. The fun clubs and positive, morale-building activities have fallen completely off the cliff, in favor of more focus on athletics and less focus on academics. As a teacher, the attitude of the other teachers and staff always seemed halfhearted, at best, though there are some true gems few and far between. The kids are great and are truly underserved at this school, sadly.Teacher Review9mo ago - Tucker Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child came in about 2 months ago and was bullied the entire time. The bullying ended with my son in the hospital suffering from a concussion to the head and a seizer. My son was jumped by several students 4+ the first time when they followed my baby into the restroom and 3 the second time (one being the same from the first altercation). Two of those boys stomped on my child's head while he was having a seizer. All of this took place before 9 a.m and from what was told to me teachers were out there and turn their back towards the matter. My youngest son who attends the school as well was pulled out of class, and taken to see his brother unconscious laid out on the floor. He was told his brother hit his head and had a seizer (the same thing that was told to me and my family). To add insult to injury the school sends me paperwork saying my child is suspended all based on the second altercation. Their reason being: allegedly your son was on a recording (taken by a student) walking towards the same individual that jumped him the first time. My child has never had any behavioral problems and always got acknowledge for good behavior at ALL of the schools he attended by his teachers And principles, while the children (that call themselves a gang) have prior records and history of doing these sort of things. My family is so hurt right now my son is hurt physically and mentally. My baby isn't the same after this and I honestly don't know how long it will take for him to get back to normal. I absolutely hate this in I will make it my business to make sure no other child experience what my baby had to go through.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 1703 Ronald Rd.
