I heard nothing but bad things about this school, but once my child started attending, I realized everyone views are different. The staff is great, and they make it challenging for the students. The staff needs to be replaced as well with the exception of Mrs. Fears in the office, she’s the best thing this school has. This school is terrible in every other aspect. First off I NEVER see the principal around. Yet at Tussahaw I would see the principal every morning out front greeting the students and at pick up helping the staff and students as well. Not once have I seen that here. The principal here dodges parents like it’s her job! The staff does not how to talk to parents or students. They all just seem so miserable doing what they do. I don’t understand how knowing all the things that I know of that’s gone on there with other parents and students it all has somehow stayed out of the news. Henry County has done a good job covering up for this corrupted school. Remember parents talk and soon they will be rallying together to fight for what is right.Parent Review5y ago

"Most of the people have been here for many, many years and always wave and say hello. We’ve been here for 25 years and there are some who’ve been here much longer. I’ve left my keys in my car and fallen asleep with the doors unlocked overnight many times with no problems. We’ve Always felt safe here, and we really do love our neighbors as ourselves! "

"It's dog friendly. The barking can become overwhelming as one dog hears another they get into a singing gang. I have multiple dogs so it doesn't bother me. I like the animals communicate if someone strange is in their view."

"Honestly I don’t see it. They lack a music scene. A mall for starters everything is down town or in the Atlanta section. Needs more scenery in McDonough but the houses are great. One more thing no Amusement Parks are in McDonough that would be great but again I seen a lot of houses and that’s the one thing that is good."

"Everyone comes together overall... birthdays, holidays and also for things going on within the community such as fundraisers etc. It’s a very diverse environment that makes everyone blended and positive. I am happy to be a resident of McDonough. The area is safe, neighborhood is warm friendly and inviting and all the neighbors look out for one another "
