7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe scoring may be high, but the way these kids are treated is unacceptable. I learned that when the Super pays a visit, they ironically have all of the "troubled" students outside for a special recess. Communication is horrible. The way they treat the special needs kids is horrible. They are suspended more than the students who know exactly what they are doing. The math isn't mathing here. Some of the teachers are great, but there are a lot that don't know what they are doing. They don't have the patience to be in their position. It's kind of sad.Parent Review1y ago - Howard Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI hear only great things about Howard MIddle School from the parents who have children both at Howard and at our elementary school. The students who attended our elementary and now go to Howard Middle School are happily engaged in learning and continue to excel! Howard Middle School students return to perform concerts at our school, return to tutor our students, participate and excel in sports and technology, and communicate their liking and enjoyment of learning at school. We continue to follow or former students and observe their progression. As far as negative situations that occur at all schools, I feel strongly that students need the opportunity to develop grit, curiosity, and determination especially when confronted with situations that make them uncomfortable. We can't shelter students from problem solving, but as a community support them through their maturation.Other Review9y ago - Howard High School
