5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTotally unhappy the ways they have treated my grandson! He was recently diagnosed with ADHD and ASD! The episode that happened this week with them before I could even get there to him they let him craw and scratch himself with a pencil for 30 minutes because I was 30 minutes away. they were six adults in that room and did not stop him. And then other than that now they have gave him eight days suspension?Parent Review1y ago - Hiram High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere are pros and cons when it comes to this school. I’m a Former student currently and nobody really know what goes on in this school in a students perspective. Parents won’t understand the type of frustration and depression kids get from this school. Definitely bullies here and would make you feel like you don’t belong whatsoever. Although, SOME teachers are very supportive and great at teaching! Others not so much. Racism still goes on they show bias towards some students. I wouldn’t recommend but if you want to try it out be my guest.Student Review11mo ago - Bessie L. Baggett Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had the opportunity to visit the school site in its entirety. I also was able to meet many of the schools' faculty and staff. The facility was extremely clean, and, the school personnel was very professional and showed such loving and caring spirit. My granddaughter attends there as a second grader, she absolutely loves the school and her teacher/principal. They exhibit advance knowledge and skills. She has been encouraged and supported in all of her little endeavors. The principal has conference d with her, ( with an opened door ) and has told her of HER expectations for my granddaughter with great positiveness. I am exceptionally happy to have her in that school environment. I feel very confident in growth for both my granddaughter the principal/ and staff.Other Review11y ago - Check out schools near 34 Morris Rd.

"Dogs on leash and other pets are very welcome. Also recently there have been several dog parks popping up in the neighborhoods which are not only fun for our best friends, but give their owners an opportunity to sit and rest after a busy day and chat with their neighbors if they wish."

"Depends on whether your going to work or shopping and what time of day it is. The work commute can be hairy so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to get there without taking unnecessary risks. Drive safely, you still have a lot of living to do! Hiram is what I call a “rural suburb” of Atlanta. So even though there are a lot of varied and extensive activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, it is a very short drive to many cultural and art exhibits, theatre productions and family entertainment parks like “Six Flags Over Georgia”. There is no lack of cultural, educational and yes “fun” opportunities in this area. So your commute to work could as long as 1 hour from Hiram to downtown Atlanta, or as short as 10 minutes if your lucky enough to work for the Wellstar Family Medical Practices or Facilities (for example). "The neighborhood is friendly. Some folks walk dogs, and some have their children with them. However, parents should accompany them on walks and to the parks at least until they have met a few people and learned the lay of the land. "
