6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have 3 graduates, one sophomore, and two more on their way to this high school. I will happily debate anyone with a negative review of this high school. This is a good school, with good staff, and in a good town. This school like any other gives any student what they work for. Their band program for my 2nd graduate was phenomenal, they have a solid athletics program, and their AP classes were challenging enough that my kids had to put in work for their grades.A student gets what they put in to their education here just the same as every other school. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest child attended Mountain View grades K, 2-4. Never really had any major issues, but now that my youngest is in 3rd grade... The only issue I had was with her 2nd grade teacher. She was only her 2nd year teaching & she had no children of her own.. She kept complaining because my child wouldnt pay attention in class, but she never communicated with us via phone or email or set up a parent/teacher meeting. We just saw the comments on her report card. After her remedial class & after school tutoring, her grade continued to decline, so I had a meeting with the couselor & 2 of her teachers. The counselor suggest I have tested for ADD, my thought was how about getting a teacher who actually teaches & talks to the children instead of sitting in a corner texting &/or fixing her make up! 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThought this was the right school my child but that was quickly found to be incorrect shortly after the start of the year. Bullying is out of control!!! We were shocked by the constant ignorance of the students. Closed minded shallow kids not able to accept differences in the student population. I have NEVER experienced this type of culture in any other schools my child attended. VERY disappointing and we now had no choice but to homeschool.Parent Review2y ago

"Our city is safe and friendly. Friendly neighbors are always helpful . We live about 7 minutes from grocery, pharmacy and restaurants. Apple Farms are about a 10 minute drive. We have a stand alone Piedmont Emergency Room and a first class Nursing home. The Courthouse is a historic building and our town square is a circle. "
