6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have been attending Long Branch for over a year now and it has been an amazing experience. At our last school the staff weren’t very attentive to our needs (autism, anxiety, reading delays) and the overall activities and environment were just okay. LBES has blown us away. They really are a family here. It’s amazing to me how the staff know all the students names, and the changes they made with the COVID funding were improvements that directly impacted the students. Their Harry Potter style house system is also a fantastic way to bring teamwork amongst all grades and gives the children frequent rewards for positive behavior. Most importantly, without me ever saying a word, the teachers here noticed the reading delay issues right away and got my child established in the intervention program. She experienced more than two years worth of reading growth in 9 months. Both my children are excelling at math, and my daughter with autism has really cultivated a love of reading since attending this school, and that was an activity she very much despised in the past. As a side note, it appears that the children here are very accepting of each other. Kids are quirky and they all just deal with it and get over it like respectable humans. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAcademics are very good, as are sports. However, there is reports of narcissistic snarky bullying students! The staff at LCHS & counselors have failed to help dozens of suffering students! Some popular students are adept at hiding bad attitudes. Place a box for STUDENTS to write letters, signed or unsigned naming all issues, depression, personal, home or at school, including bullies! These 4 years in your care are impressionable sensitive demanding years and students NEED & DESERVE school personnel to put forth efforts to discover & MEET their needs. Students dealing with unacceptable attitudes suffer emotional harm as they are unable to stop bulling behavior. Staff CAN Increase CHRISTIAN attitudes in morning prayer. POST the Golden Rule in multiple areas. Become PRO-ACTIVE. Counselors are failing to EARN their salary. It’s not a social butterfly position, Get in the trenches, look for and find those 8-10 troubled at risk students to offer your services in private every day! I give you 5 stars at ignoring high at risk lives on your watch!Parent Review1mo ago

"yes we have a lot of things to do around here we have Yahoo's park where you can walk an there's playgrounds for kids an see have Goodrich where we man for gold an there's a lot of little stores in the Saaure the glass blowing shop an get a Bradley an we have the ung college campus is huge we have a new library fixing to open "

"Dogs are always welcome at local hangouts like shenanigans downtown alot of the shops allow pets in the stores as you shop too! Very k9 friendly community!"

"There is the fireworks show on the 4th of July at the college drill field, there is Goldrush which is an event in September, that is wonderful to bring friends and family too."

"We are a neighborhood with 7 houses on our street and in our subdivision. Every house in our neighborhood has a dog or two. Neighbors walk their dogs everywhere in our neighborhood and they respectfully submit to picking up their dog's stools. "
