This is our second year at Mashburn Elementary and we love it. There is very welcoming envirnonment and it is very nice to see the happy faces of the children each morning when they arrive to school.There is a big sense of community and that is what we love. The school is diverse and the staff works very hard to provide to each child what they need to develope and strive.From the academic perspective, we feel that our daughter is in a good level and we also see her learning while having fun.The other great thing of this school is that it is part of the Dual Lingual Program, so the kids that are part of this program learn english and spanish at the same time. We consider that a huge plus in our child's education.

This school is a JOKE. I have a child who went to Montessori for all of elementary and a STEM school in Colorado for middle. My child has never had trouble with learning and has always excelled. She is now failing 3 classes because the teachers don’t lecture! They just make power points and make the students self teach and claim they are teaching classes “like college” I have 2 degrees and even in grad school my teachers ALWAYS lectured. “I thrive by self teaching” said NO ONE EVER! One time for the parents in the back who pay taxes that pay teacher salaries AND THEN have to shell out hundreds of dollars a month for tutors! Do yourself a favor and find your kid a better school!!!!!! Then if your kid needs help NO ONE has any answers. If your kid needs a quiet place to take a test? FORGET ABOUT IT! Funny thing is ALL colleges have a testing center and you don’t need to jump through hoops and get a stupid form filled out to utilize it. Guess you’re not teaching classes like college.

Teachers are best in this school. Students are getting good guidance on learning path and career planning. Sports , Chorus and Band learning facilities are well equipped. Decca , HOSA clubs are active helping students follow passion. Kids have great progress in Robotics.
