3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current Senior at G. W.Carver High School. I am privileged to be a part of the graduating class of 2012. The reason i have come to this website, is to voice my opinion of this school. I always hear people commenting on our school. And its not always positive. And a lot of people speak of G.W.Carver High School in reference to the football team, which is great. But what about the academic portion of our school. We have some of the most phenomenal administrators that I've ever had the privileged of being taught by. And our principal Mr. Lindsay is one of the best there are. I thank him as well as the school administrators for being the amazing staff that they are.Student Review12y ago - Brewer Elementary School

Also they look out for students best interest they are having one of my kids tested for gifted and trying to help my other child with a lisp. "commuting is not bad at all there's a bus stop at almost every corner so there's no problem of getting around only thing is that there's not enough places that I can go and just enjoy myself within the city being that there's a lot segregation and discrimination going on within this beautiful city in which I think if we had outlets to enjoy it will decrease the unneighborly feel of the city"

"Lock your doors. There is a big mix of lifestyles here and that makes crime abundant. The area needs gentrification and cleanup in places. Then it would be safer for everyone. Houses could be more affordable if they were not gems in the rough. "
