Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from March 11, 2022
Where to start, there is room for everything on this 20+ acre estate just 50 min to Atlanta! A beautiful rocking chair front porch welcomes you home. The master suite is located on the main level with a huge family room and renovated kitchen. There are 3 additional bedrooms upstairs with a bonus room that could be 4BR. Walk in attic space for plenty of storage. The main level includes formal dining, separate living room, and mud room right off the garage. This home sits on a full finished basement with 2 more BR's, bath, recreation room, laundry room, partial kitchen and office space. There is a deck that looks toward the in-ground salt water pool. Inside the pool house you will find a kitchen, bath and changing area. Plenty of pasture that is partially fenced, and two storage sheds with tractor parking. The large metal building was used for a home business, but could easily be transformed into barn space. On the top floor there is a 1,200 sq. ft. apartment. This home is served by a well, but has county water that can be turned on if needed. The land is in conservation and was renewed in 2019.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and education here are great, and my kids excel educationally here. But *sigh*, I missed another work meeting because the bus, yet again, drove past my house without stopping. My child in tears... and I'm making excuses to my boss. This has happened often over the 8 years my children have been here. And as always, the transportation dept phone just rings and rings and goes to a full mailbox where you cannot leave a message. Even if they did answer, past history tells me they'll be rude and non-chalant about it anyway.Parent Review10y ago - Central High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagemy grandkids go to Whitesburg. It's pretty small compared to the other schools in our area. The teachers are fabulous and are easy to work with. The parent/teacher portal is outstanding and communication is very good. Leadership is great.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 2800 S Highway 16.

"Nothing interests me. I'm 23 and don't drink and I have no children. I hate the parades because they shut down key roads we need to get around. We have no events for young adults to make friends in a safe alchohol free environment. "

"It’s a nice peaceful little town with amazing hospitality. Except for the annoying rich people who don’t want a freaking side walk case the don’t want anything built in their yard. Even though that makes it dangerous for me to walk my dogs CAUSE I HAVE TO WALK THEM IN THE FREAKING STREET "

- Mmwwhitaker

"The area Is rural. Lots of farmland; good for gardening and animals including livestock. Not safely walkable for kids or riding bikes as roads are 2 lanes with no sidewalks and cars tend to travel exceeding the speed limit. Pretty much have to drive everywhere. Occasionally see bicycle club (adult)group riding thru the area. Hickory Level community has an active association to help become acquainted with neighbors "
