My children really like/liked cherokee high school. It’s the teachers there that make the difference. It’s diverse and more like the real world. It is next to a water treatment plant so it can get smelly there. To address the overcrowding they expanded the high school into an elementary building that was next door. So the kids do have to walk a good distance between buildings but it was a good, immediate solution to the overcrowding. There are nearly 900 Freshman this year so if it’s a small school your looking for, this isn’t it.

Very well prepare and successfully superior of work

Hasty Elementary is being mis-managed . Very unprofessional staff including Principal. They are more focused on fundraising and county funding than teaching our kids. Majority of parents have received intimidating letters or emails from the principal or administration with threats of a social worker contacting you if you’re falling in line. Hasty Elementary principal picks and chooses to her liking what Cherokee county standards to enforce or modify to her benefit . I would not recommend anybody enroll their child at Hasty Elementary until a new principle is appointed and re-training of the administration is done .
