6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children really like/liked cherokee high school. It’s the teachers there that make the difference. It’s diverse and more like the real world. It is next to a water treatment plant so it can get smelly there. To address the overcrowding they expanded the high school into an elementary building that was next door. So the kids do have to walk a good distance between buildings but it was a good, immediate solution to the overcrowding. Bad behavior is not addressed. Traffic is a nightmare. Car pool is awful- and admin refuses to address it.Front office is mediocre at best. Campus officer has short-man syndrome and pretends to do his job- which isn't much anyway. Waste of tax payers money.Teachers are good though- for the most part.I've had 3 children over the last 8 yrs attend Freedom. Glad to be moving on and out of Freedom.
