8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family loves Glynn Academy. Rich in history, this is a downtown school (gated) and has the feel of a college campus. Teachers will push and encourage your child beyond their comfort zone. They are quick to offer college referrals and really prepare your child to hit college running. They really go beyond what is expected from teachers and invest in your children. Sports and team spirit play a huge role at GA. Terrors Football has produced some college & NFL level players. In addition, Terrors baseball is home to Adam Wainwright (pitcher for St. Louis Cardinals). Tennis, Golf, Volleyball, Softball, Sailing, Theater etc. They have something for everyone. GA is home to the Pride of the Golden Isles Band, who have won many Champion titles in marching band competitions. As a parent, there may be some kinks - well nothing is perfect and this is a big learning age - but two of my daughters have attended here as will my youngest when the time comes. I highly recommend Glynn Academy! GO TERRORS!!Parent Review2y ago - Satilla Marsh Elementary School
