"There’s a great dog park within Piedmont and plenty of green space for dogs. Some restaurants with outdoor seating allow pets as well. "

"Midtown is ok in bits and sketchy in others. Lots of homeless, lots of street racing. We’re planning to get the heck out when our lease is up. "

"Many friendly dogs and owners. Great place for walking dogs. Piedmont Park is awesome. More residential feel than other areas of ATL."

"Steps away to restaurants and notable Atlanta spots. Fair privacy and safety but sorry to say, very common for your car to be broken into... just something you accept I guess for living in the city."
Trulia User

"The dog park is small but it’s cool that they have one. It’s also a mini trail so if you wanted to switch up the walk, it’s available."

"Just be mindful of your surroundings and watch out for drivers not obeying traffic laws. There tend to be a lot of loud exhaust noises late at night and it’s definitely not the quietest of neighborhoods, but it’s also the closest to NYC you’ll find in Atlanta!"

"This neighborhood has a wonderful residential feel while being very close to the city. There is a lot of sidewalk traffic heading to the park. Most of the residents are progressive and kind. "

"Great transportation access. Multiple stations in the area. Not a lot of parking but your housing should provide parking option. Biking is not well received either. "

"The unique city lifestyle where anything you could imagine is nearby. Saturday mornings at coffee shops and walks to piedmont park make this place awesome."

"MARTA is extremely unreliable/time-consuming even for short distances. My commute (driving) within 2 miles takes about fifteen minutes. However, during snowmaggedon, it took about 3 hours. That about sums up my commute, just trying to reach minimum of 100 characters."

"You’ll like Piedmont Park. It’s not too far to walk there but there aren’t too many parks but that. You can take your pup to the store, as well!"

"Some streets are ones where you could feel comfortable with your children walking/playing alone and others you would not -especially at night. There are a lot of homeless that walk through the area, some streets in particular, and while most of them are harmless it can make you feel uneasy."
