Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from August 20, 2021
Be it Morningside’s walk-ability and parks, countless dining options (Alon’s Bakery, anyone?), or breathtaking craftsman, Tudor and four-square homes, the neighborhood’s charms are well-known. But to enjoy those amenities from the comfort of a more eclectic set of four walls, don’t miss this stunning 2-story with a modern, mid-century vibe. Inside, find 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, and a tall-ceiling open-plan area that includes a living space, dining for 10, lounge, and kitchen (which has everything you expect in a gourmet workspace: from Brazilian granite counters to built-in stainless appliances. Dart up a set of floating stairs to the second floor and you’ll find access to a sprawling second-floor deck, partly covered to give you a choice of sun or shade. The oversized master suite boasts enough room for a home office or a reading nook and features a master bath divided into four spaces: a room with double vanities, one with a soaking tub and oversized shower, a water closet, and a large walk-in closet. Bathrooms throughout are tiled and feature modern fixtures and stone accents. And in back, there’s a large back deck overlooking a private yard with a green space, a garden, and a fire pit.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible organization and horrible leadership, in unsafe area, horrible bus transportation that doesn't even come half the time with kids missing, tons of bullying and toxic school environment . Prison like yard for lunch and play. Toxic sludge for food. No regular fitness and only 15 minutes of outside time a day with NOTHING but grass and concrete (not even a ball). Aggressive, unprofessional, bullying, raging teaches who treat young kids like they are criminal teenagers. Teachers don't teach and just rely on tech button clicking multiple choice software for their lessons. Kids are treated like robots and allowed to bully other kids, learning best from teachers that a bullying is okay. Hateful place and kids using dr*gs in bathroomsParent Review3w ago - Midtown High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Grady for two years (junior and senior) after attending a DeKalb County high school for two years, and the change was unbelievable. Granted, I took 10 AP classes during my time at Grady so my view is not holistic, but I absolutely loved my two years at GHS. I had many, many amazing teachers (notably Nichols for AP Calculus and Pope for AP US History), and I was heavily involved with the school's theatre and chorus programs. Grady students are very passionate about their interests (of which there are many), and the growing culture of academic competitiveness did wonders for my grades. That being said, the administration is kind of a mess and the school is not without its problems, but if you don't go looking for trouble you probably won't run into any.Other Review6y ago - Check out schools near 655 Courtenay Dr NE.

"Easy breezy! Even in the worst rush hour traffic I can still make it back home rather easily. I take Uber or lift to work but even if I drive there I can make it to work in 35 minutes or less. Since this is an older established neighborhood, I know that the likelyhood of apartments or multi-use aprtments being built is slim. This means that the traffic patterns won’t change that much"
