7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible organization and horrible leadership, in unsafe area, horrible bus transportation that doesn't even come half the time with kids missing, tons of bullying and toxic school environment . Prison like yard for lunch and play. Toxic sludge for food. No regular fitness and only 15 minutes of outside time a day with NOTHING but grass and concrete (not even a ball). Aggressive, unprofessional, bullying, raging teaches who treat young kids like they are criminal teenagers. Teachers don't teach and just rely on tech button clicking multiple choice software for their lessons. Kids are treated like robots and allowed to bully other kids, learning best from teachers that a bullying is okay. Hateful place and kids using dr*gs in bathroomsParent Review3w ago - Midtown High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI attended Grady for two years (junior and senior) after attending a DeKalb County high school for two years, and the change was unbelievable. Granted, I took 10 AP classes during my time at Grady so my view is not holistic, but I absolutely loved my two years at GHS. I had many, many amazing teachers (notably Nichols for AP Calculus and Pope for AP US History), and I was heavily involved with the school's theatre and chorus programs. Grady students are very passionate about their interests (of which there are many), and the growing culture of academic competitiveness did wonders for my grades. That being said, the administration is kind of a mess and the school is not without its problems, but if you don't go looking for trouble you probably won't run into any.Other Review6y ago - Hope Hill Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has attended Hope Hill for the last three years (preK-1st). It is an excellent school and all of our teachers have excellent. All of my questions to administration and staff are always answered promptly and given with more insight than I could have asked for.I love the principle, Ms Wheeler, and I only wish them the best of luck as they continue bringing excellence to our community everyday and uplifting the kids.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 626 Parkway Dr #26.

"I work from home so it’s fantastic, LOL. That being said, my former office is 6 blocks away so I walked when I was still going into the office. MARTA is also 5 blocks away and buses go up and down North Ave. 2 blocks away. My part of the O4W, Fourth Ward West, is very convenient to Downtown or Midtown either walking or taking public transit."

"New middle school coming soon in the heart of 04W. Could be nice to walk your kids to school. Ppl often speed down the cut through roads on weekends so must be aware, esp with kids and pets. Elementary school Hope-Hill not highly rated. "
