"Ormond-Grant Park has a great playground and interactive rain garden. I see kids playing in the street occasionally and riding bikes/scooters around. Vehicle traffic tends to stay at reasonable speeds on most residential streets. Grant Park and the Zoo are obviously great for kids, too."

"This is one of Atlanta's oldest and most important historic districts, with the second-oldest house in Atlanta still standing in its original location. Most buildings were built between the neighborhood's founding in 1882 and the first decades of the 20th century. Grant Park contains the largest remaining area of Victorian architecture in Atlanta. Oakland Cemetery, established 1850, is where Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones, 25 former mayors of Atlanta, and six former governors of Georgia are buried. "

"The best time to visit Grant Park is in the summer. On hot days, you can take refuge under huge trees and enjoy the lush scenery. There is also a playground and a swimming pool, perfect if you have children. Lots of people love GP, but there are some less-than-desirable areas surrounding the park. Make sure you visit anywhere you are considering living and make your own evaluation."
